Nathalie has been making GemTrees for nearly 40 years, here I explain a few tips about GemTrees.

How to choose.

Shop Birthstone GemTree.

If you are choosing as a gift for someone you can go with the persons birthstone. This is the most popular option for a gift.

Shop Mindful GemTree.

 If you don’t know the birthstone of the person you are buying for, or don’t like it then just choose a color you like and go with that. This is also a nice way to shop for a Gemtree choosing the meanings attached to gemstones.

Shop Family Gemtrees. 

Family trees are where all the Families Birthstones are on the same Gemtree. These make a very special gift for Mum and Dad, Grandparents, or a family you love that’s not yours !! You can also use this option and put lovers together or good friendship Gemtrees.

MINI  $30 NZD (height 12cm or 5″ with 20 gemstones)

MEDIUM  $60 NZD (height 17cm or 7″ with 50 gemstones)

LARGE $150 NZD (height  24cm or 10″ with 90 gemstones)

International customers once you click into the products prices will be displayed in your currency.

Shipping and make time

Your order is dispatched within 5 days of the order being placed and paid for. Postage within NZ takes about 3 to 4 working days and is tracked.

Packaging- GemTrees are not as delicate as they look, the wire is very flexible and the trees fold flat for transport. They are wrapped in tissue so they don’t tangle, then wrapped in recycled commercial grade bubble wrap and sent in a box with the gemstones ticked off on a list; so you, or the person getting the gem tree knows the gem names, meanings and birthstone. 

Gemtree Care

Keeping your GemTree clean and beautiful is super easy. To clean it wipe it with a dry cloth. Old glasses or sun glasses cleaning cloths work really well. It is best not to wash the tree as this will affect the wire and glue. Always ensure you have clean hands when rearranging, cleaning, or shaping your tree. To clean around the roots use a old dry toothbrush.

Sometimes it happens that a gemstone may come off your GemTree. To re apply it, give the gemstone a wipe down and then use any craft glue that you have at home. Hot glue will work too, but you just need a tiny amount. Selleys All Fix is a great glue to have at home for all small jobs and it doesn’t dry out like super glue and so lasts for years. I recommend this one.
